Social Detectives Group
For children who mis-read social situations
Our team of Occupational Therapists recognise that practicing social skills, self-awareness, and self-regulation are important parts of building friendships and learning. To provide children starting school in January 2020 with the best start to learning, we have decided to run groups each school holidays with a focus on building age appropriate skills, needed for reading/interpreting social cues and following instructions in the classroom and playground.
If you are interested and can attend the clinic on the dates below, please add your details to the sign up form below. Feel free to speak with our team or leave a comment if you have any questions.
The group is limited to 5 children (when more than 3 children are present, there will be 2x OTs) and is six hours in total. We aim to keep the consistency for all children within the group and for that reason if you are unable to attend one of the days, you will need to speak with our team directly, before we can confirm your child’s place in the group.
