For young people growing their comfort zone…
Our Explorers program will encourage your child to participate in a range of activities that grow their comfort zones (socially, mentally and/or physically) and celebrate personal achievements. The activities chosen by our Team offer a range of opportunities to explore new skills, practice self-agency and grow self-esteem within an environment that promotes positive social interactions and celebration of shared success.
Our upcoming group in April 2024 has been designed as a series of different activities spread across the school holidays - how many events you attend is up to you!
You may opt to attend 1 event to give your child an opportunity to explore a new skill or you may wish to sign up for all the events for added intensity!
DAY 1 - Wednesday 17th of April
What: Masterchef Masterclass
Explorers will work together to shop for ingredients at a local supermarket, follow a simple recipe and enjoy a meal together. The focus of our Masterchef program is to encourage a curiosity about different foods, to understand basic cooking skills and to work together as a group to achieve a tangible (and delicious) goal. Group members will be encouraged to explore new foods, however will not be 'forced' to eat foods they are not comfortable with.
Time: 11am - 2pm
Location: 18 President Ave, Caringbah, local supermarket and community hall.

DAY 2 - Thursday 18th of April
What: Harry Potter Escape Room
Navigate through enchanted chambers, solving puzzles and challenges based on Harry Potter’s magical world, promoting teamwork, problem-solving skills and creative thinking.
Time: 11am - 2pm
Location: 18 President Ave, Caringbah - our clinic for drop off and pick up.
Program Cost: $220
DAY 3 - Tuesday 23rd of April
What: Bushwalk
Stretch your legs and get moving! We’ll pause to admire the natural setting, stopping when we need rest, water or food along the way. A great opportunity to challenge yourself and connect with peers. Explorers will practice traveling on various forms of public transport to reach their destination.
Time: 9:30am - 4pm
Location: Meeting at Early Links Clinic, Train to Cronulla, Ferry to the Royal National Park, and then back to the clinic for pick up.
Program Cost: $440
DAY 4 - Wednesday 24th of April
What: Science Challenge
We will be completing various experiments, working together to create resources, and comparing strategies to understand why each experiment worked (or didn’t).
Time: 11am - 2pm
Location: 18 President Ave, Caringbah - our clinic, and nearby oval

Places are strictly limited to ensure each child receives adequate support to maximise their individual success within group activities. If capacity is reached, bookings will be closed.
Please speak to our Team if you are not sure which activities will best suit your child’s goals and interests.
*Additional costs may be incurred on the day, depending on the activity chosen. If you have any concerns or the cost is prohibitive to your child attending, please speak to our leadership team.
